“The little god that couldn’t.”—Kenneth Copeland

“I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is. … The biggest one is God. … I mean, He lost His top-ranking, most anointed angel; the first man He ever created; the first woman He ever created; the whole earth and all the Fullness therein; a third of the angels, at least—that’s a big loss, man … Now, the reason you don’t think of God as a failure is He never said He’s a failure. And you’re not a failure till you say you’re one.” (Praise-a-Thon program on TBN [April 1988] )—Kenneth Copeland

Oh what to make of such a mockery of God. To claim to be one of His preachers, only to perpetually blaspheme Him. To actually say God is the biggest failure in the Bible, is mind-blowing, mind-numbing. That he has survived for 30 years for quoting that, it’s proof positive What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction?[Romans 9:22] It was man who failed. God placed man in the Garden as a sinless creation. He gave him a wife(after He saw it wasn’t good for him to be by himself), and a place of perfect peace. All he had to do was tend to it. And what happened? Eve was deceived, ate of the Tree of Knowledge, which they were strictly forbidden to eat from, gave some of that fruit to Adam, and look at where we are at now.  And yet, Mr. Copeland had the audacity to call God the biggest failure in the Bible. Utterly amazing and utterly foolish. So, even when man was sinless, he was not infallible. Even though he was upright, he was not unable to fall. So again, it was the man Adam, who failed miserably, not God.

God told Abraham “By Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.[Genesis 22:16-18] Saving a multitude of sinners who were undeserving of being saved, and are incapable of saving themselves hardly makes God the biggest failure in the Bible. He was going to correct the first Adam’s failure through the last Adam’s victorious cross work. Again, God has zero failures. Wow, I find it amazing, in a bad way, of having to rebuke someone calling God the biggest failure in the Bible.

In Genesis 3:15, we see the remedy for sin And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.” Now, Mr. Copeland twisted Christ’s victory on the cross by saying He ceased to be God. He went to hell and was tormented by Satan and his minions for three days and night. Then he went even further into heresy by saying His Spirit was reborn in hell, becoming the first reborn person. It is obvious the Bible is way above his pay grade, and he states he’s a billionaire.

In John 17, during the Christ’s High Priestly prayer He said, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. “O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” That’s not a failure by anyone standards. Well, except to Mr. Copeland and those of his ilk.

So, I see it was Adam who failed, not God. It is Mr. Copeland who has failed in that he perpetually blasphemes God and keeps his followers from following the truth.

I see Mr. Copeland in this light These are the men who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, casting up their own shame like foam; wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.[Jude 1:12,13]

“Lifestyle of the rich and sinless.” Joyce Meyers

BBF16666-9EEE-4988-8DA3-92316EEA31DD.jpeg

“I am not poor. I am not miserable and I am not a sinner. That is a lie from the pit of hell. That is what I were and if I still was then Jesus died in vain. I’m going to tell you something folks. I didn’t stop sinning until I finally got it through my thick head I wasn’t a sinner anymore. And the religious world thinks that’s heresy and they want to hang you for it. But the Bible says that I am righteous and I can’t be righteous and be a sinner at the same time.” Joyce Meyers

Let’s start by saying the first sentence “I am not poor” is an absolute truth. In 2004, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch said that Joyce’s husband had a ten million dollar private jet, a silver Mercedes worth $107,000 and several homes each worth two million dollars each. I read an article from 2015 that stated she was worth $25 million, with her buying each of her kids a private mansion, each worth two million dollars. All of these were paid by her ‘ministry’. So she spoke the truth there. She should be ashamed of herself, also should all other prosperity teachers, as they fleece deceived ppl out of their money. They will go to poor third world countries, flying in on private jets worth millions of dollars, tell them God does not want them poor, but rich. If they will sow money into His kingdom…pffft…yeah riiiiight…what they mean is sow into their kingdom…God will give them a fourfold harvest. So they lie to them, take their money, get back on their private jets, and go back to their private mansions, and drive their luxury cars, all for the cause of the Christ. Again….pffft…yeah riiiiight.

Now, the remainder of her quote I posted is utter hogwash. She is miserable. Anyone who fleeces ppl out of their money in the name of the Christ is a miserable person…and also truly deplorable. She said she has stopped sinning. She has no clue how we can be a true child of God, be righteous in His sight, and a sinner all at the same time. She can not grasp this, because her god has her blinded, and has her convinced she has stopped being a sinner. As Paul rightly wrote in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.[2 Cor. 4:4] The god of this world has her blinded. We have been imputed the righteousness of the Christ, and that’s what makes us righteous before our God. Even though we sin, that still does not change that. God sees the finished product already completed. It says and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,[Eph. 2:6] so we are ALREADY seated with Him, however, we are still here. It’s like this…we are in heaven, yet not now. It’s like we are in the kingdom, yet not now. John saw us in heaven almost 2,000 years ago. So if John saw it, then so does God. Joyce Meyers can not see this. She is blinded by her gods, Satan and wealth(mammon).

Paul spoke of his struggles with sin in Romans 7:14-25. Some say this speaks to his time pre-conversion, but I think the context is speaking about himself as a believer. Lost ppl would not struggle like that over sin. When believers sin, they know they have sinned against a thrice holy God. The lost would not struggle like Paul said he did. I love how he wrote this Wretched man that I am![Romans 7:24a] Paul, who wrote at least 13 of the NT books, spoke verbally to the Christ, never attained sinless perfection that Joyce Meyers claimed she has.

John wrote this If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.[1 John 1:8] By using this verse, it shows that Joyce Meyers is not only deceived by Satan, but also by herself.

She, as the other false prosperity teachers are, do not want the bad that goes along with being a Christian. They want the private jets, the fancy cars, the mansions, but not the cross. Jesus told His disciples that they would be beaten, mocked and some would even be killed for His names sake. Then Paul wrote this For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.[Philippians 1:29] Suffering is part of being a Christian. Granted, many never died like the disciples, those who were burned in the streets as Nero used them as a cruel form of street lights. Then many died during the Catholic inquisitions when they would not denounce their beliefs. Look at all Matin Luther, Jan Hus, William Tyndale, went through. Jan Hus was burned alive and William Tyndale was strangled to death and then burned at the steak. I would bet dollars to donuts these prosperity preachers would wilt if they had to suffer like Christians of centuries ago did.

As Shai Linne aptly stated in his song ‘Fal$e Teacher$‘ they want a crown w/o a cross.

The Christ did not empty Himself of His divine attributes.[Philippians 2:7,8]

F394545C-7BDB-439A-AE43-DDA093834448

but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.[Philippians 2:7,8]

Recently I joined a ’Christian’ forum that did not want members talking about subjects such as Calvinism vs. Arminianism, OSAS, manifestation of tongues, soul sleep, rapture, among other teachings as they tend to bring a lot of heat. I kinda liked that, seeing it gets tiresome debating the same things over and over again. So, I thought I would start a thread about the Hypostatic Union, thinking we’d be in agreement. Boy was I wrong. A member on there stated “The Christ ceased being God. Was born a man, became a Spirit-filled man. Gave up His born-again Spirit pre-crucifxion as God could not take sin upon Himself or go to the cross. He then went to hell in our place. At just the right time, God placed His Spirit back in the Christ.” Well, I thought I would just leave it there and just not go back, but my love of Him would not allow me to set idly by and say nothing. I posted a rebuke, they deleted my post and banned me. I knew this would be the cowardly route they would go, so I copied and pasted it to another site for safe keeping. Here it is en toto.

I had honestly thought I would never post here again, but there has been some things said on here that I can not let go unchallenged.

There has been some rank heresies spouted on here that need addressed.

At no time did Jesus cease to be God, seeing that He was born Immanuel/Emmanuel, which means ‘God with us'[Isaiah 7:15 & Matthew 1:23]. God is immutable[Hebrews 6:18], and that means He changes not. He is Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end[Revelation 1:8].

He was not born as a man who later on became a Spirit-filled man. That heresy was started by Finis Jennings Dake, creator of the Dake Annotated Reference bible. He said ”who became the Christ or the “Anointed one” 30 years after he was born of Mary.” He never became the Christ, but was born the Christ. As the angel told Joseph in Matthew 1:20,21 ”Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” The Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born 100% God and 100% man. Dake held to the view that Jesus was a good, moral man, who God chose to indwell with the Holy Spirit and then He became the Christ. Utter heresy. Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, not that He became the Son at His baptism in Matthew 3:16,17. Here’s another quote from Finis Jennings Dake “Gr. Christos, ‘Anointed.’ – Used in N.T. 577 times. Like the name “Jesus” it has no reference to deity, but to the humanity of the Son of God, who became the Christ or the “Anointed One” 30 years after He was born of Mary. God “made” Him both Lord and Christ. The Heb. Is ‘Messiah’.” (Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible, Finis Jennings Dake, Lawrenceville, Georgia, New Testament, p. 1.) Again, neither of those heretical quotes by Dake have merit with the word of God.

Then another rank heresy spouted on here is that the Christ had to do away with His deity in order to die upon the cross. Another heresy that ppl took and ran with. Paul Crouch, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Sr.(probably Jr., too), and Joyce Meyers all teach/taught this, that Jesus had to ceased being God to die, and when He died, he went to hell. UTTER HERESY. He said while upon the cross, ”Father, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT.”[Luke 23:46] There is no way the Christ was born solely a man, and then 30 years later became the Christ, then ~ 3.5 years later ceased being God, died and went to hell.

Another Dake quote…

”He is a person with a personal spirit body, a personal soul, and a personal spirit, like that of angels, and like that of man except His body is out of spirit substance instead of flesh and bones. He has a personal spirit body; shape; form; image and likeness of a man. He has bodily parts such as, back parts, heart, hands and fingers, mouth, lips and tongue, feet, eyes, ears, hair, head, face, arms, loins, and other bodily parts. He has bodily presence and goes from place to place in a body like all other persons. “He has a voice; breath; and countenance. He wears clothes; eats; rests; dwells in a mansion and in a city located on a material planet called Heaven; sits on a throne; walks; rides; engages in other activities.” (ibid.,P.96-97)

He says that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit each have personal Spirit body. FALSE! God is Spirit. He had no idea how to use anthropomorphic language. It also says of God in David’s writings ”He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge. His faithfulness is a shield and a bulwark.”[Psalm 91:4] By using Dake’s logic, we can say that God has bird’s wings, too.

Even another Dakeism…

”Here we have another proof that God receives knowledge of true conditions and becomes acquainted with existing facts. This plainly teaches that God, as well as men and angels, is limited to one place as far as the body is concerned. The doctrine of omnipresence of God can be proved, but not His omnibody. In His body He goes from place to place like other persons. Abraham stood yet before the bodily presence of God, but not before the bodily presence of the 2 angels because they went to Sodom and were no longer bodily present.” (ibid., Old Testament, p. 15.)

Here is denying God’s omniscience. Jesus emptied Himself, but that does not mean that He ceased to be God, or to even lay aside His attributes, but that He ceased to manifest them. He was 12 years old when He told His mother ”Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?”[Luke 2:49] He was calling God His Father ~ 18 years before He supposedly’ became a Spirit-filled man.

And one last goodie from Dake…

“Christ emptied Himself of His authority in heaven and in earth, which was given back to Him after the resurrection.” “Christ emptied Himself of His divine attributes and outward powers that He had with the Father from eternity. He had no power to do miracles until He received the Holy Spirit in all fullness. He could do nothing of Himself in all His earthly life. He attributed all His works, doctrines, powers, etc. to the Father through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.” “Isaiah speaks of the Messiah being born without knowledge enough to know to refuse the evil and choose the good.” “Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would be born without the tongue of the learned, without knowing how to speak a word in season to help any soul, and that He would be wakened day by day to increase in knowledge and wisdom.” “He did not claim the attributes of God, but only the anointing of the Spirit to do His works.” (Ibid.,NT.P, 218)

Jesus never emptied Himself of His deity, neither did He empty Himself of His attributes, nor did He cease to be God before He went to the cross. Kenneth Copeland, Paul Crouch, Joyce Meyers all taught these heresies. They got them from Finis Jennings Dake, who was a false teacher, just as Copeland, Meyers, Crouch, Hagin, Sr., are also false teachers.

It’s good to know that some who claim to have the mind of Christ, in the very next sentence blasphemed God.

This will be my lost post on this site. Goodbye.

So as you can tell, I spared nothing in rebuking these heretics. He said he had the mind of Christ and then blasphemed God in the very next sentence by saying He ceased to be God, was born a man, became Spirit-filled man, gave up His born-again Spirit, seeing God could not take sin upon Himself or die on a cross. Then he doubled down and said the Christ went to hell in our place!?!?!?

Joyce Meyers, Kenneth Copeland, Paul Crouch, Kenneth Hagin, Sr., all advocate(d) these rank heresies. They took the heresies of Finis Jennings Dake and ran with them.

In Luke 2, Simeon was shown by the Holy Spirit, he would not die until he saw the Lord’s Christ. Simeon knew when He was a wee baby He was the Christ.

Forgive me, dear reader, for some things I have said 2-3 times. I just want to bring these heresies to light, as the light is what exposes sinful ppl’s sin[John 3:20].

I fear for those on that site(his wife is also a member and advocates these same heresies) and others around the world who have swallowed these heresies hook, line & sinker. They need our pity & prayers, that God will open their eyes to these rank heresies. I will leave you with this passage…

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;  and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.[2 Peter 2:1-3]

God, please be merciful to them and open their eyes is my prayer. In the name of Jesus. Amen!

Andy Stanley is at it again

hqdefault

Andy Stanley is at it again, trying to attack the authority of God’s word. He recently stated that believers needed to divorce the old testament from their faith. That is so unbiblical its frightening. These same scriptures Mr. Stanley says we need to divorce from our faith are the same scriptures the Christ said ‘that testify of Me.'[John 5:39] These same scriptures are the scriptures that the Christ used to tell the two who were walking on the Emmaus road about who He was/is.

Then we read in 2 Timothy 4:13, Apostle Paul was desirous of Timothy bringing his cloak and the parchments(OT writings) with him when he came to visit him in prison. We can also read throughout Acts the Apostles spoke and brought ppl to saving faith by using the OT scriptures Mr. Stanley is imploring believers to divorce from their faith. Apostle Paul said this in Acts 13 “Brethren, sons of Abraham’s family, and those among you who fear God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent. For those who live in Jerusalem, and their rulers, recognizing neither Him nor the utterances of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled these by condemning Him. And though they found no ground for putting Him to death, they asked Pilate that He be executed. When they had carried out all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a tomb. But God raised Him from the dead,; and for many days He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, the very ones who are now His witnesses to the people. And we preach to you the good news of the promise made to the fathers, that God has fulfilled this promise to our children in that He raised up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm, ‘YOU ARE MY SON; TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU.’ As for the fact that He raised Him up from the dead, no longer to return to decay, He has spoken in this way: ‘I WILL GIVE YOU THE HOLY and SURE blessings OF DAVID.’ Therefore He also says in another Psalm, ‘YOU WILL NOT ALLOW YOUR HOLY ONE TO UNDERGO DECAY.’ For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid among his fathers and underwent decay; but He whom God raised did not undergo decay. Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.”[Acts 13:26-39] We can see that Apostle Paul used the OT scriptures to tell ppl about the Christ, the Christ said they testify of Him, and I will close with this You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from hom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.[2 Timothy 3:14-17]

So no, Andy Stanley, we do not need to divorce even one OT verse from our faith.
